Recap March 2020 Virgin Voyage The Scarlet Lady

Hey Strawbabies,

Covid 19 HIT. Schools closed.  Quarantining began. The beginning of March before Covid 19  was announced.
I was tentatively scheduled to experience Virgin Voyages new ship The Scarlet Lady.
I was excited because this would be this ship's first run and I was going to have the opportunity to be among the first of travel agents to experience what it had to offer.
Unfortunately, this cruise was canceled and rescheduled. But I did get to study and go through the many videos of the design and what it had to offer.

A FULL TOUR of Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, by a crew member

Video Credits Crew Member Virgin Voyages.

I can't wait to experience this cruise in the upcoming year and I hope you will like to experience it as well. Tell me your thoughts Strawbabies.

Let's Go Cruising after the Pandemic and the Cruises open back up Strawbabies!!!

Hey Strawbabies,
I'm back and ready to share with you the many details of my crazy year.  I've truly missed you guys and this year has been quite the year in REAL LIFE for me.
Over the rest of this month I am going to bring you guys full speed to December 2020. We will recap, catch up and definitely take off for the New Year 2021.
I hope you are in the  holiday spirit despite the many challenges WE have faced this year.
March of this year was the last month I shared with you what was going on in the world of Pink Strawberries. This year has not been all Strawberries and Cream.  I literally had to stop and drink a Strawberry Mimosa 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Well Strawbabies, I know you get it!!! We are Survivors and Fighters. This is my WAR FACE. Strawbabies I'm interested to see your WAR FACE. I also want to hear from you guys.
How did you survive this pandemic?

The Honey Pot Co

My muse this week is Beatrice Dixon!!! Why Beatrice Dixon? Recently, she made national news headlines about her controversial comments on black owned business and her personal truth on business funding and ventures for African American entrepreneurship in the United States. Before this made the news in a negative way, I had never heard of her or even her products.

Her company which is named The Honey Pot Co is a black owned feminine care brand. The products are plant-based. These products which consist of pads, tampons, panty sprays, natural washes, wipes, herbal products and lubricants are sold nationwide.  These products can be found in your local Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods, Urban Outfitters and Wegmans.

The product itself must be totally amazing because every store I have visited in the Atlanta Metro Area is completely sold out.  I am dying to get a product or two to try out and let you Strawbabies know the Real Tea.

                                                              Beatrice Dixon

                                                        Some of her products

These products and others can be purchased on

If you have tried the products already. Leave a comment. I would be happy to hear your opinions Strawbabies.

Sotto Sotto Restaurant

I recently had an opportunity to dine on a Tuesday night at the Sotto Sotto Restaurant. Sotto Sotto is an authentic Italian restaurant that has been around for about 15 years in the Atlanta area. The doors were open in 1999. Even though it has been here for quite some time,  this was my very first visit to this cozy eatery and I want to tell you it was such a delightful experience.

Sotto Sotto is nestled in the Inman Park area. Yes, Inman Park has all kinds of secrets and hidden gems that I plan to uncover.  Sotto Sotto was named as one of the top 20 Italian Restaurants in the US by the New York Post. At the time of arrival, I had no clue of what I was walking into or what to expect. I did not do any research, I just typed the nearest authentic Italian restaurant nearby and I found this hidden gem. I arrived there almost an hour before closing. I normally don't like to arrive anywhere an hour before closing because I feel like often times you get the end of the barrel and you feel rushed to move along because its closing time.

I decided to suck it up and just take a chance. I was so happy that I did because Tuesday night I was craving Italian food. Not just Italian food, but the authentic kind that put me in the mind of my stunt in Italy. I missed it and I wanted to get that warm full feeling of an Italian eatery I experienced across the pond. I was on the hunt. I wanted some Lasagnette Bolognese. This is the traditional homemade version of the Italian comfort food lasagna. But no one quite makes it like the Italians. The food is so flavorful and it has been perfected over generations to be what I tasted on Tuesday night.

Hope you enjoyed the pics. Only a tease. You should make this one of your places to try after the COVID-19 Ban. This will be well worthy of a first stop on your agenda as free people.

If you want to explore more of this experience, head on over to their website
Make sure to tell them PinkStrawberry sent you for their amazing dining and food experience.
