In 2010, Carlynn was
the event planner for the Women Empowerment Conference “QueenMaker” held at the Gwinnett Civic
Center. This was a women’s conference
that uplifted hundreds of women and expressed the importance of being a queen
and living the life of a queen. Inspired by her business’s growth and clients
she decided again to explore more options and introduce a blog for her fans.
In 2011, she created the blog PinkStrawberry Events ( www.pinkstrawberryevents.com) . This blog
is a way for her to express her views and is a journal that takes you through
the life and fashion world as Carlynn sees it. She also tells you about
upcoming fashion events in Pink in the City
and back briefs the latest events and happenings in Atlanta where she currently
resides. She loves to give readers
updates on the fashion world and entertainment industry. To this date, she has had over 45,000
visitors known as “Strawbabies” to
her site. Also in 2011, she picked up several sponsors, including Get
Married Magazine, Perfect Wedding Guide Atlanta, Ken’s Kustoms, Crave Cotton
Candy, and I.C.E. She then went on to start the wedding
class series, “How to Plan A Wedding in 12 Months” at the South Fulton Branch of the Atlanta Public Library System.
In 2012, she added Mally Beauty
and Cake-o-Licious Bakery as
sponsors.
She also decided to pursue
one of her dreams and go back to school and further her education in fashion by
majoring in fashion design and marketing at American InterContinental
University in Atlanta, Georgia. She can
